Biography:
Zeba Sami is a final-year MBBS candidate at Shree Guru Gobind Tricentenary University (SGT), Gurgaon, India. She completed a short-term studentship under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR-STS), with a focus on mental health and caregiver support systems. Her academic work spans maternal health, neuropsychiatry, and mental health services, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented her research at recognized academic forums, including the World Congress on Obstetrics and Gynecology organized by CIPT Publications, and the Annual Undergraduate Medical Conference at the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi, India. She also participated in a medical hackathon where she developed and pitched an AI-driven self-care platform to support caregivers of individuals with mental illness—designing a prototype website and business model ahead of the broader AI surge. Currently, she is contributing to research on AI-based predictive models for suicide prevention, with a strong interest in the convergence of psychiatry, digital innovation, and public health.
