Mr. Rizwan Khan comes from a Life Science background and is currently a 3rd year Ph.D. student at the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. He completed his bachelor’s degree with a major in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University, India. Rizwan’s research focused on the biochemical and textural characteristics of both sweet corn and wheat. His current research focuses on developing an early diagnostic test for Alzheimer’s disease. Other research interests of his include protein misfolding, neurodegenerative disorders and immunology. Rizwan has published 2 papers published in the WJPLS and 1 paper in Frontiers in Veterinary Science.
