Biography:
Dr. Nicole Cruse earned her Ph.D. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2021. She also holds an M.A. in Linguistics and graduate certificates in Cognitive Science and the Neurobiology of Language. She is now an assistant professor at Sacred Heart University in the Department of Communication Disorders and is the head of the Cruse Executive Functioning Lab. Her research is primarily focused on the development of ecologically valid methods of assessment for executive dysfunction after TBI, understanding discourse deficits after TBI, and improving quality of life after TBI.
