Biography:
Kaneeka Chakraborty is a high school senior at Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is graduating near the top of her class, leading teams and community organizations. She has conducted research alongside Dr. Sumit Sarkar Ph.D at the National Center for Toxicological Research, where she studied Alzheimer's Disease and its effect on microglial cells in the brain. She has presented this research at the Arkansas State Science Engineering Fair, the Arkansas Undergraduate Symposium and Maulana Azad Medical College Alumni Association of North America's Annual 2024 Conference. Kaneeka hopes to further her love of neuroscience and anatomy in college and continue to conduct neurology research.
