Biography:
Divya Goel is a PhD student at the School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Jamia Hamdard, and doing her part of thesis work at the Division of Genomics and Molecular Medicine, CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology. She graduated as MS in 2019 from the NIPER. During her MS she worked on mutation analysis of the rare neurological disease Spinocerebellar ataxia type 10 in the Indian population. Currently, for her dissertation, she is working on the role of neurosteroids (Ganaxolone and allopregnanolone) and nuclear receptors (LXR and PXR) in Alzheimer’s disease. She has published 8 research/review articles in SCI(E) journals.
