Biography:
Dr. Pandalai is a research physician and epidemiologist in the Risk Evaluation Branch, Division of Science Integration, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is board certified in occupational medicine (MD, The Ohio State University, 2002; residency, University of Iowa, 2008). Formal research training includes behavioral neuroscience (MS, The University of Pittsburgh, 1992) and psychiatric epidemiology/public health (PhD, The University of Pittsburgh, 1998). Her work includes quantitative and qualitative risk assessment of chemical and non-chemical occupational hazards and translating findings into practice. She has co-chaired the Toxicology and Risk Assessment Conference and served as its continuing education director.
