Dr. Minee L. Choi obtained a MMSc (first class, 4.38/4.5) in Physiology from College of Medicine, Hanyang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. She was then awarded a Cambridge Trust Scholarship and received a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience from University of Cambridge in 2013, UK. After PhD study, she joined UCL as a postdoctoral research scientist and worked in Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research (2013-2014). Then she moved to UCL Institute of Neurology and focused on understanding of how protein aggregation is progressed in neurodegenerative diseases particularly in Parkinson’s disease (Francis Crick Institute secondment from 2017). In the last few years, she has published a number of research and review articles investigating this field including Acta Neuropathologica, PNAS, Nature Communications.
