Biography:
Giriish Purushothaman is a rising senior at Bridgeland High School in Cypress, Texas, with a deep passion for computational neurobiology and biochemistry. As an independent researcher, he leverages structural biology frameworks to model molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. Alongside his academic pursuits, Giriish serves as assistant concertmaster for his school orchestra and is an Eagle Scout. His multidisciplinary achievements span successes in Science Olympiad and Future Business Leaders of America. He aspires to major in neuroscience in college, aiming to dedicate his career to solving complex medical mysteries at the intersection of structural biology and brain health.
