Biography:
Esra Al is a neuroscientist and AI researcher specializing in cognitive impairment, dementia, and human–AI interaction. She earned her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, and completed postdoctoral research at Columbia University Medical Center. Her work spans cognitive neuroscience, computational modeling, and human–AI interaction. At NewDays, she develops and evaluates AI-based interventions for people with mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
