Biography:
Dev Sathyan is a high school researcher at Bridgeland High School (Class of 2028) with a strong focus on neuroscience and biomedical research. He is a published researcher through the Rising Researchers Program, where he conducted a systematic literature analysis on the impact of social isolation during COVID-19 on cardiovascular and mental health. His current research investigates the behavioural and mood effects of fencing on children and young adults with special needs, exploring brain-behaviour connections through pre- and post-activity assessments. He is a 2025 National Science Bee qualifier, 2026 National Biology Bee Semi-finalist and Harvard MedScience Clinical Program participant.
