Carmen Vogt received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently a third-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She desires to pursue a future career in neurosurgery. When she heard of cryoneurolysis of lower extremity cutaneous nerves, she came up with the idea to try the procedure on herself and her father, which resulted in 100% resolution of symptoms for several months and partial resolution for several years. She’s excited about the future implications of this discovery with hopes that people around the world will benefit from her research.
