Biography:
Arpit Ramani is an 11th grader top of his class at Wheeler High School and is passionate about developing therapeutics for neurological diseases utilizing computational pharmacology techniques. Arpit currently leads the Neuropath project, a framework focusing on novel BDNF drug-delivery systems for neurodegenerative diseases. Arpit's work uses advanced bioinformatics to design therapeutics to pass through blood-brain-barrier and deliver targeted treatments. Arpit is currently engaged in efforts with leading researchers and aims to advance therapeutic development for Alzheimer’s disease. Arpit has been recognized for his work in international competitions, most notable being his participation in the International Science and Engineering Fair.
