Biography:
Alexander Guo attends Timberline High School and will graduate in 2024. He is a Tennis State Champion and a varsity basketball and football player. He plans to go on to study Mechanical Engineering and pursue a master's degree. Since June 2022, he has been working in the Neuromechanics Lab at Boise State University, under the supervision of Dr. Shuqi Zhang. He has been involved in multiple research projects focused on identifying potential factors contributing to the loss of automaticity in older adults with non-invasive brain imaging techniques and biomechanical analysis. The lab team explores the neuromuscular measures associated with dual-task gait deficits among patients with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease for early diagnosis, as well as identifies a timetable of physiological recovery by objective neuromuscular measures in concussed adolescents.
